Cody's parents were here for the weekend. It was great to have them around! Since they will most likely not be back for Josh's 1st birthday, we thought we would have a little pre-view of the 1st birthday cake tradition. Here it is for you......

Stepping with my Truck

Grandpa & Grandma Statema gave Joshua a couple early birthday presents this weekend and one of them is a little truck that he can practice walking behind. Well, we figured it would take him several weeks to figure that out, but the little squirt figured it out tonight and used it to do some of his first walking! He thought he was just the coolest little dude as he walked across the room!

At Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard on Fri, Sept 19

Joshua LOVES animals, so we took him to the petting Zoo at the Apple Orchard. It is so much fun to see how he kicks and kicks when he sees the animals! He is so excited to see them. He also giggles when they try to lick him or sniff him.

This is Joshua pulling his "fat face" as Cody and I like to call it. He pulls his chin way in when he is unsure about something he sees. Here he is by a calf. He quickly got used to it.

Cody wanted a picture of Josh's feet in the poop. Don't worry, we washed them later.

What a little boy will do for his Mom

Josh learned how to climb stairs several weeks ago, but last night, driven by his desire to see his mommy, he climbed the whole flight of stairs twice! There was no way he was going to let those stairs stand in the way of his mommy. hahaha.

I caught Joshua playing with this drawer last night. It was hilarious because he is relatively mild before he sees me with the camera, but once he notices it, nothing is going to stop him from opening it. What he doesn't know though is that the drawer is baby proof.
